Ready...Set...Go!

Ok ok ok...so I have been MIA. I tried out Weebly, did not like it, and am back.

Also, I have a surprise...we are no longer homeschooling. My son started back at public school about a week ago. More on that later...be on the lookout for more posts on this transition from homeschool to public school...along with some homeschool giveaways!

Sad State of Education

Now that I am back at school, while homeschooling, I have noticed one thing that I find pathetic.

Credit card swiping option on vending machines.

What are we teaching college kids?

Negative Life

I have a close friend from childhood. We are friends on Facebook and I might see her when I go home once every five years. She is probably THE most negative friend I have on Facebook. Why do I have her added? I think out of some sense of duty. It makes me wonder though. How can you live your life with every moment being a complaint?

Shouldn't life be enjoyable? If I felt and acted the same way she does toward a job I would quit. Why would I keep a job that I cannot stand? Wouldn't you want to make your life better? Maybe some people enjoy the negative life. Not me. I want to savor every awesome minute I am alive.

What about you?
